What is the Young Mothers’ Fellowship?

The Gethsemane Young Mothers’ Fellowship (GYM) is a fellowship of young adult women in Gethsemane B-P Church. GYM reaches out to ladies who are newly-wedded and mothers with young children. GYM ministers to the spiritual needs of these sisters through the study of relevant topics from God’s Word, prayer and fellowship.

What We Do

Through our monthly meetings, we hope to encourage mothers who are new in their role of motherhood through mutual fellowship.

The Bible encourages mothers to be joyful mothers in the home (cf. Psalm 113:9). During GYM meetings, the ministry aims to encourage the young mothers to remain steadfast in their motherhood.

During the regular monthly meetings, GYM is studying on the theme “Motherhood: A Christ-like Ministry at Home”. We also hold occasional seminars on biblical motherhood and family life.

Our regular meetings are held at Gethsemane Media Centre, 33 Ubi Crescent, Singapore 408584. GYM meets on the 4th Fridays of every month, at 4pm. We also hold occasional meetings in the homes of members.
