What is the Children’s Ministry?

The Gethsemane Children’s Ministry (GCM) is passionate about partnering with parents to teach our kids to love God and to love others around them. We support parents in their God-given roles as the primary spiritual caregivers in their lives, and help to nurture the faith of our kids alongside their parents.

What We Do

Through our weekly meetings, we hope to build up our children in the knowledge of God’s Word, so that our children can know the Scriptures from a young age, which will make them wise unto salvation (cf. 2 Timothy 3:15).

Psalm 127:3 declares, "Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward." As God’s precious gifts, we take the spiritual nurturing of our children in Gethsemane very seriously.

The Children’s Ministry holds concurrent Saturday meetings with the Young Adults’, Men’s, Ladies’, and Adults’ Fellowship groups. On Sundays, we have concurrent Junior Worship classes with our 11am worship service.

Our regular Saturday meetings are usually held at Gethsemane Media Centre, 33 Ubi Crescent, Singapore 408584. On Sundays, we meet at the Level 5 and Level 6 Powder Rooms of the SingPost Level 5 Auditorium.

Get Involved

The Children’s Ministry meetings are held concurrently with the other fellowship groups of our church. Once a year, during the year end vacation period, we hold a Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) for our kids. The DVBS is usually three days in length, and we will have a time of Bible learning and games for the children. Check this space out for any upcoming DVBS or special events!
