Church Choir

What is the Church Choir?

The Gethsemane Church Choir (GCC) is the main choir of the church. The aim of the choir is to promote conservative and godly music. The GCC ministers to the church by singing unto the Lord songs of praise during Sunday services, thanksgiving services and Gospel rallies.

What We Do

Through our song presentations, we aim to edify the church and encourage the congregation in the Lord. We may not be the best of singers, but we thank the Lord for using our humble efforts to glorify His name and edify His people.

weekly practices
The GCC holds regular, weekly practices after the 11am worship service on Sundays. The practices usually start around 1.30pm. Special ad-hoc practices may be called when the need arises.
song Presentations
Generally, the church choir presents on the fourth Sunday of the month. The GCC also presents on special occasions, such as weddings of church members, Christmas, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.
encouragement to others
Besides presenting during the Sunday services, we also sing to encourage our brethren during times of bereavement, or singing at the homes of brethren who are sick and elderly. We thank God for comfort through hymns and songs.

Get Involved

The Church Choir is open to members of Gethsemane Bible-Presbyterian Church. Only baptised members are able to serve in the church choir, as this is a spiritual ministry that requires people who agree with our doctrinal beliefs. If you would like to join the GCC, please approach Pr Cornelius Koshy.
