What is the Defenders’ Ministry?

The Gethsemane Defenders’ Ministry (GDM) aims to equip believers to be valiant, bold, ready soldiers of Christ in these last days. In the church and in the world, anti-God beliefs are gathering strength. Unless our congregation is vigilant against this evil trend, we will be no safer within the church than in the world! We pray and hope that all Gethsemaneans will be strong and well-armed with the truth of God’s Word to answer everyone who ask them about the reason of their faith and hope (cf. 1 Peter 3:15).

What We Do

Through our seminar meetings, we hope to educate and teach Christians about the importance of being grounded in the truth of God’s Word.

In 1 Peter 3:15, Peter writes "be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you". As Christians, we need to have strong foundations to know how to answer people who question our faith.

GDM deals with various contemporary issues that affect the church. Topics previously covered include evolution, flat-earth theory, God's young earth, vaccines & viruses, archaeological evidence for the Exodus etc.

GDM does not hold regular meetings. Instead, occasional seminars will be held when a topic of importance arises for the ministry to deal with. For more information on this ministry, you can contact our church office at +65 6741 1910.
